(ACANAP) in particular. Since its establishment in 1992 it has collected, exchanged and utilized
information and knowledge of ecosystem research through workshops, conferences and
symposiums with the purpose to help to solve conceptual problems of the nature protection,
management and monitoring of Carpathian Mountains 11 .
