world stands perfect, protected by the bland j^ir,
with whom it came into life ; threatened and at-
tacked by the cold, dark Jotuns, who endeavor to
regain their ancient dominion. The conflict between
Good and Evil has grown up with the "World'
life itself, and ends only in its destruction.
