About the Author Melissa F. Schulz received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2001 and a M.A. in Cognitive Psychology in 2002. She started teaching Research Methods Laboratory and continued on as an instructor of Sensation and Perception at the University of South Florida. She graduated from the Ph.D. program at the University of South Florida in 2004. While in the Ph.D. program at the University of South Florida, Dr. Schulz was very active in helping her students reach their highest potential. She also first authored a publication in Psychological Science and made several talks and poster presentations at international Vision Science and Teaching of Psychology conferences.
