Section 3000 – Fiscal Management<br />
3340 Fees, Payments and Rentals (Cf. 9250) 3340<br />
Proceeds from fees for building or equipment use or rental shall be credited to the<br />
District’s General Fund.<br />
Rental and Leasing of District Real Property<br />
The Board may authorize the rental or lease of District real property not used for<br />
instructional purposes.<br />
Athletic Gate Receipts and Admissions<br />
The Board shall set admission fees to various District athletic activities. These fees shall<br />
be reviewed as needed.<br />
Income and Payments from Sales and Service<br />
Students may undertake school supervised projects for private individuals or community<br />
groups as part of their learning experience. The facilities and equipment of the District may be<br />
used for such activities. All receipts shall be deposited in the general fund and used as a<br />
reimbursement for materials and/or to purchase additional supplies and cover expenses of the<br />
District.<br />

3350 Commercial and Promotional Sponsorship Understandings 3350<br />
The Board recognizes that private sponsorship of programs and activities by commercial<br />
firms, businesses, individuals, or organizations can provide valuable enhancement of the<br />
educational and other programs offered by the District. For that reason, the District may enter<br />
into commercial, promotional, and other private sponsorship arrangements under the terms of this<br />
policy and in accord with certain administrative rules, regulations, and conditions as established<br />
by the Superintendent.<br />
No sponsorships of any kind by commercial firms, businesses, individuals, or<br />
organizations shall be permitted without prior approval of the Board pursuant to the<br />
recommendation of the Superintendent.<br />
No initial understanding shall be for more than a two-year term. No renewals shall be for<br />
longer than a two-year term.<br />
All agreements or understandings shall be in writing and signed by the Superintendent on<br />
behalf of the District after review by District legal counsel. No agreement shall be entered into if<br />
the sponsorship involves or gives the appearance of involving, or promotes, in any way, the sale<br />
or use of a product or service involving alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, weapons,<br />
contraceptive devices, pornography, any illegal activity, drug paraphernalia, or political<br />
advertisement.<br />
