1830 Feb Letter from J.C. to Leslie about the election of Arnald to the<br />

after 10 Royal Academy: "the sketch of the lane and cottage would be<br />

all the better for a little of <strong>John</strong> Dunthorne's varnish & a<br />

'flat'." [Possibly an unfinished version of the Glebe Farm<br />

which J.C. had given to Leslie.] (JCC III, p. 25; see also JCC<br />
