1835 July 2 Letter from J.C. in London to George <strong>Constable</strong> in Arundel:<br />

"<strong>John</strong>, & myself, will come to Arundel on Thursday to pass a<br />

few days with you & Mrs. <strong>Constable</strong>—and if further agreable<br />

will bring my eldest girl with me. . . . I gave my lecture last<br />

Monday week at Hampstead and did it much better this<br />
