intend to formally amend its biennial budget request to include
this estimate. However, it should be noted that the actual cost of
on-going maintenance and support can only be reasonably
estimated once a detailed implementation strategy and
deployment model have been determined.
Approval of this item will also allow University officials to
contract for purchase of hardware for the project, at an estimated
cost not to exceed $3,000,000.
The proposed contracts have been reviewed by the Office of the
General Counsel.
Approval of this item will also authorize the President to
negotiate and enter into a Project Cooperation Agreement with
the Nebraska State College System. That agreement will address
internal cost allocation, governance, project director and project
management issues between the two entities.

contracts in the Office of the University Corporation Secretary,
3835 Holdrege Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68583, between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday,
except University holidays.
