DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:
The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Construction is a research-oriented advance degree program
in Construction with tracks in Construction Management and Construction Engineering. It will
complement the previously approved and presently offered Master of Engineering (Construction)
degree, which is a terminal professional degree. The proposed M.S. will prepare its graduates with
research skills necessary to enter the College of Engineering unified Ph.D. program in the proposed
Construction field.
