DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:<br />

The Master <strong>of</strong> Science (M.S.) degree in Construction is a research-oriented advance degree program<br />

in Construction with tracks in Construction Management and Construction Engineering. It will<br />

complement the previously approved and presently <strong>of</strong>fered Master <strong>of</strong> Engineering (Construction)<br />

degree, which is a terminal pr<strong>of</strong>essional degree. The proposed M.S. will prepare its graduates with<br />

research skills necessary to enter the College <strong>of</strong> Engineering unified Ph.D. program in the proposed<br />

Construction field.<br />
