SUBJECT: Alexander Building roof replacement construction contract at the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve awarding a $437,870 contract to Weathercraft Company of
Lincoln to replace the Alexander Building roof at the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).
PREVIOUS ACTION: None
EXPLANATION: On May 13, 2008, UNL received three bids to replace the Alexander
Building roof. Weathercraft Company of Lincoln was deemed the
lowest responsible bidder. The low bid for this project is $437,870,
exceeding the delegation authority noted in RP-6.3.1.4. Board approval
is requested to award the contract
CONTRACT COST: $437,870
This roof replacement is an LB 309 project.
