Hamblen. The names <strong>of</strong> his children are not on the <strong>Barnstable</strong><br />

records. Ebenezer was probably his son, and Joanna, who married,<br />

July 7, 1735, Benjamin Bursley, was probably a daughter.<br />

P^benezer Cannon married, in 1735, Mercy Blossom; July<br />

30, 1753, Patience Goodspeed. His children born in <strong>Barnstable</strong><br />

were<br />

I. Ebenezer, March 19, 1736-7, married, in 1761, Experience<br />

Tupper <strong>of</strong> Dartmouth.*<br />

II. Ruth, Jan. 18, 1738-9.<br />

III. Nathan, April 10, 1741, married, March 23, 1763, Thankful<br />

Bassett.<br />

IV. Joanna, Sept. 4, 1743, married, Nov. 28, 1760, Bezalee<br />

Waste, <strong>of</strong> Dartmouth.<br />

V. Joseph, Dec. 14, 1745.<br />

VI. Timothy, baptized June 17, 1750.<br />

VII. Mercy, baptized June 30, 1754.<br />

VIII Ebenezer, baptized Jan. 30, 1756.*<br />

IX. Ira, baptized Oct. 12, 1740.<br />

X. Ziba, baptized Aug. 1762.<br />

* The Ebenezer who was published to Deliverance Tupper in 1761, is called Jr. ; the<br />

Ebenezer baptized June 30, 1756, is called son <strong>of</strong> Ebenezer and Patience. It is probable<br />

that there was jet another Ebenezer.
