Matthew Fuller. All the rest <strong>of</strong> his estate, both real and<br />

personal, he bequeathed to his honored mother, to be disposed<br />

<strong>of</strong> for her comfortable subsistence during her natural<br />

alienation shall be disposed equally amongst the rest <strong>of</strong> my<br />

5. Dr. John Fuller, son <strong>of</strong> Matthew, resided on the paternal<br />

estate at Scorton Neck. He was a physician <strong>of</strong> some note in his<br />

day. He died in 1691. He married two wives: 1st, Bethia<br />

, and second, Hannah , <strong>of</strong> Boston, who survived<br />

him and married, Dec. 9, 1695, Capt. John Lothrop, <strong>of</strong> Barn-<br />

stable.<br />

Children horn in <strong>Barnstable</strong>.<br />

14. I. Lydia, born 1675, married 12th May 1699, Joseph<br />

Dimmock. She died in Connecticut Nov. 6, 1755, aged 80.<br />

15. II. Bethia, Dec. 1687, married Feb. 20, 1706, Barnabas<br />

Lothrop.<br />

17. IV. Reliance, 8th Sept. 1691, married John Prince (?).<br />

7. Capt. Thomas Fuller, son <strong>of</strong> Samuel, married 29th Dec.<br />

1680, Elizabeth, daughter <strong>of</strong> Capt. Joseph Lothrop.<br />

21. IV. Benjamin, born Aug. 1690. He was Lieutenant, and<br />

called junior. He married 25th March 1714, Rebecca<br />

Bodfish. She died 10th March 1727-8, and he married Feb.<br />

20, 1729-30, Mary Fuller. His children born in <strong>Barnstable</strong><br />

were: 1, Mary, July 15, 1714; 2, Lydia, March 23, 1716,<br />

married Dec. 2, 1742, John Percival ; 3, Thomas, June 1-8,<br />

1718, (see account below) ; 4, Elizabeth, Sept. 30, 1720;.<br />

5, Benjamin, Oct. 28, 1723; 6, Abigail, Nov. 29, 1725,<br />

died 1726 ; 7, Joseph, Oct. 18, 1730, died 1732 ; 8, Thankful,<br />

April 26, 1733, married April 23, 1757, Samuel Gilbert, <strong>of</strong><br />

Conn. ; 9, Rebecca, June 1, 1735, Timothy Jones paid<br />

attention to her twenty years, but did not marry. She<br />

removed with her brother Seth to Kennebec; 10, Seth,
