Project History:<br />

This project was developed from the I 94 managed<br />

lane study that was recently completed in 2009.<br />

The eastern segment SP 6282-187 will be let Feb<br />

2011. This segment will be funded via ARRA<br />

funding. The western segment will be let Feb 2011<br />

and will include the technology components of the<br />

project.<br />

Project Benefits:<br />

This project will provide a managed corridor from<br />

Minneapolis to St. Paul, which will provide<br />

congestion relief and a transit advantage.<br />

Project Risks:<br />

New traffic technology similar to the I 35W UPA<br />

project will be used.<br />
