The majority of the respondents (57.8%) had completed secondary school, with the
second largest amount completing technical or vocational school (16.8%). We had 18 or
18.9% completing some form of college. Only 3 or 3.1% had never been schooled. The
implication here is that men who have sex with men are not limited to any particular
educational status but can be anyone across the educational spectrum as any other
resident in Antigua .

Language spoken
All of the men spoke English with 7.3% also speaking Spanish and 3.1% being English-
French bilingual. All of the men who spoke French were from Dominica and this could
be attributed to the fact that their patois dialect is broken French. The 7 English and
Spanish speaking men were distributed as follows: 1 from Dominican Republic, 2 from
Jamaica and 4 from Guyana.
