The most valuable characteristic of a good health care facility for the respondents was
confidentiality (60%). They also wanted friendly and helpful staff (45.2%) and 23.1%
thought that cost was an important factor. It was important for some to have extended
opening hours to facilitate them and there were also cultural factors as 10.5% of the
respondents wanted persons who spoke their language.

Complaints about HIV and AIDS medical care in core group
For the men who have sex with men (MSM) population, 60% were bothered by stigma
and discrimination and 18.9% were concerned about the cost of health care services.
Unhelpful staff affected 15.7% of the group and they were to a lesser extent concerned
about geographical area and the cleanliness of the facility. Many did not have an answer
to this question as they did not know what their peers were dissatisfied with.
