Last HIV test
Knowing your HIV status is very important and 6.1% has of the respondents have never
been tested and 3.5% don’t remember when they were tested, which indicates that it is
probably too long ago. As it stands only 2.6% was tested in the past week and 10% in the
past month. 27.1% have been tested in the past 3 to 6 months and 21.9% within 6 and 12
months of being polled. With this in mind, more outreach programs may be necessary to
encourage more frequent HIV testing within the participant’s core group.
