The <strong>Oregon</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Bar</strong> received a complaint from Taylor concerning the<br />

Accused’s conduct on November 20, 2003. On December 8, 2003, Disciplinary<br />

Counsel’s Office forwarded a copy of the complaint to the Accused and requested<br />

his response to it by December 29, 2003. The Accused made no response. On<br />

January 13, 2004, Disciplinary Counsel’s Office again requested the Accused’s<br />

response to the complaint by January 21, 2004. The Accused made no substantive<br />

response.<br />

The Accused admits that he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him, and<br />

failed to respond to inquiries from or cooperate with Disciplinary Counsel’s Office,<br />

in violation of DR 6-101(B) and DR 1-103(C).<br />

Kline Matter<br />

(Case No. 04-108)<br />

Facts<br />

20.<br />

In or around December 2000, the Accused undertook to represent Harrison<br />

Kline (hereinafter “Kline”) to assist in the resolution of one or more collection<br />

matters. Kline delivered a number of documents to the Accused that were related to<br />

the representation. The Accused provided Kline with regular updates as to the status<br />

of his collection matters for approximately six months. Beginning in 2002, however,<br />

the Accused reported no progress on Kline’s matters. Kline heard nothing from the<br />

Accused after mid-2003. In 2002, 2003, and 2004, Kline requested that the Accused<br />

return his documents to him. The Accused did not respond to Kline’s requests or<br />

provide the requested documents.<br />

21.<br />

The <strong>Oregon</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Bar</strong> received a complaint from Kline concerning the<br />

Accused’s conduct on May 3, 2004. On May 14, 2004, Disciplinary Counsel’s Office<br />

forwarded a copy of the complaint to the Accused and requested his response to it<br />

by June 4, 2004. The Accused made no response. On June 14, 2004, Disciplinary<br />

Counsel’s Office again requested the Accused’s response to the complaint by June<br />

21, 2004. The Accused made no substantive response.<br />

The Accused admits that he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him; failed<br />

to promptly deliver to the client, as requested, property in his possession which the<br />
