Türkiye ve Azerbaycan’dan
güçlü işbirliği mesajı
Azerbaycan Cumhurbaşkanı İlham Aliyev ve
Başbakan Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın görüşmesi
her zaman olduğu gibi oldukça sıcak bir
atmosferde geçti. Aliyev, Erdoğan›ı
Cumhurbaşkanlığı Sarayı’nın kapısında karşıladı.
İki lider baş başa görüşmelerinin ardından,
Cumhurbaşkanlığı Sarayı’nda düzenlenen
heyetler arası toplantıya katıldı. Başbakan
Erdoğan, toplantının açılışında, Azerbaycan
Cumhurbaşkanı İlham Aliyev’e kabulleri
sebebiyle teşekkür etti. Türkiye ile
Azerbaycan arasındaki dayanışmanın geleceğe
daha güçlü şekilde taşınması için çalıştıklarını
ifade etti. Erdoğan, “Malum, şöyle geçmişimize
baktığımızda, her seçimden sonra ilk
ziyaret ettiğimiz yer Azerbaycan olur. Bu
seçimden sonra da ki bu seçimin bizim için
anlamı var, adeta bir güvenoyu, buradan yüksek
başarıyla çıktık, o ananemizi yerine getirmek
üzere kardeş Azerbaycan’a böyle bir ziyareti
benimsedik” dedi.
Çok verimli bir toplantı gerçekleştirdiklerini
belirten Erdoğan ikili ve bölgesel ilişkileri
değerlendirme fırsatı bulduklarını ifade etti.
Başbakan Erdoğan ayrıca, bundan sonraki

Talks between Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdoğan were carried out in a warm environment
as always. Aliyev welcomed
Erdoğan at the door of the Presidency
Palace. After having a one-to-one interview,
two leaders attended the meeting between
the delegations in the Presidency Palace.
Prime Minister Erdoğan thanked
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for
hosting them. He expressed that they tried
hard to maintain and consolidate the solidarity
between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Erdoğan said “As you know, Azerbaijan is
always the first country tp visit after every
election. After the local elections, which has
a huge meaning for us and which resulted
in the vote of confidence and victory for us,
we decided to pay our traditional visit to
Azerbaijan.”
Erdoğan said they had an efficient meeting
and had the opportunity to discuss bilateral
relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey
on regional issues. He also emphasized that
they wanted to move forward present relations
not only at the high level but also at
the technocrat and bureaucrat level.
Erdoğan: We will make huge
investments together
In their statements, both leaders pointed
out the economic cooperation between their
countries. Prime Minister Erdoğan reminded
that foreign trade turnover of the two
countries reached 15 billion dollars, and in
this context, he underlined that the infrastructure
of both Turkey and Azerbaijan
was getting stronger every day. Prime
Minister Erdoğan stressed that Azerbaijan’s
investments in Turkey such as PETKIM
and TANAP are expected to reach 20 billion
dollars, he said; “Azerbaijan’s investments
in Turkey are really huge. The most significant
among them is, of course, the TANAP
project. I believe when we reach our goals
determined for TANAP in 2018, this international
project will strengthen our brotherhood
to a great extent.”

until the end of the year”
Erdoğan emphasized the importance of
other projects such as the Baku-Tbilisi-
Ceyhan Oil Pipeline, the Baku-Tbilisi-
Erzurum Natural Gas Pipeline, and the
Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway; and he
