Kazakistan’ın sadece kendi ülkesi içinde değil,
Avrasya bölgesinde ve tüm dünyada barış ile
işbirliğine katkı sağlama hedefine yönelik
uluslararası inisiyatifleri de bulunmaktadır.
Bizatihi Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğu’nun,
Şanghay İşbirliği Örgütü’nün, Avrasya
Ekonomik Topluluğu’nun, Gümrük
Birliği’nin, Asya’da İşbirliği ve Güven Arttırıcı
Önlemler Konferansı’nın kurulmasında ve
geliştirilmesinde gösterdiği inisiyatifler gibi
nükleer silahsızlanma, uluslararası terörizmle
mücadele, uyuşturucu kaçakçılığı ile mücadele
gibi uluslararası organizasyonlara sağladığı
katkılar ve Semavi ve Geleneksel Dinler
Liderleri Zirvesi gibi hoşgörüyü geliştirmeye
yönelik teşebbüsler bunlardan bazılarıdır.
Devlet Başkanımız, kendi ulusunun geleceğine
ve dünya barışına tam manasıyla güvenmekte,
ülkenin adını “Kazak Eli” koyarak,
bütün bu faydalı teşebbüsleri fark edilir kılmayı
istemektedir. Elbette, böyle önemli bir
karar, halkın çoğunluğu tarafından benimsenirse
hayata geçecektir. Bu sebeple, kendisinin
de söylediği gibi, konu şu an için halk tarafından
tartışılmaktadır.

would achieve all of its targets by preserving
unity and tolerance. He added,
“Kazakhstan’s ethnic diversity is one of
its greatest strengths.”
Accordingly, as we give clues above, the
Republic of Kazakhstan wants to make its
specific development model, multi-ethnicity
and multi-faith constitutional state
order it established within “peace and tolerance”
so as to be a model for all countries
in the world.
The President wants to get away from vulgarized
negative concepts experienced by
the countries that end with the suffix
‘stan’, such as underdevelopment,
Easterner, backwardness, religious and
ethnic intolerance, international terrorism,
lack of education, underdevelopment
in terms of women’s rights, antidemocratic
state structures, etc. by means of changing
the name of the country to “Kazak
Eli”.
People who know Kazakhstan well support
these opinions. Because Kazakhstan
adopted itself to the target of being one of
the 30 most developed countries which
developed in all terms, has religious toleration,
includes ethnic tolerance in constitution,
supports the fight against international
terrorism, has an educated population,
advanced in women’s rights, and has
a democratic state and society structure.
Kazakhstan has international initiatives
for contributing to peace and cooperation
not only within the country but also in
Eurasia and all over the world. The initiatives
of the establishment and development
of the Commonwealth of
Independent States, the Eurasian
Economic Community, the Customs
Union, and the Conference on Interaction
and Confidence Building Measures in
Asia, etc. can be given as examples. By
means of international organizations, it
contributes to nuclear disarmament, fight
against international terrorism, fight
against drug trafficking, and the initiatives
for improving tolerance such as the
Summit of Divine and Traditional
Religions Leaders.
The President fully believes in the future
of his nation and world peace, and wants
to make all these initiatives noticeable by
changing the name of the country into
“Kazak Eli”. Of course such an important
decision will be taken if it is adopted by
majority of people. Therefore, as he said,
people discuss the issue now.
