Role and Expertise<br />

Brian directs and manages the preconstruction team and process. He<br />

works closely with the A/E and owner to ensure that all necessary<br />

resources are supplied for the preconstruction effort, beginning with<br />

the programming documents and schematic design phase. Brain<br />

is responsible for the cost estimating, GMP development, value<br />

engineering, and works closely with the construction team to develop<br />

the bid packages and determine best value recommendations. He<br />

also has a staff <strong>of</strong> architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and<br />

electrical estimators available to support the reconstruction effort as<br />

required. Brian will work with key members <strong>of</strong> the project team during<br />

preconstruction for constructability, site utilization and scheduling<br />

reviews.<br />
