The partnership approach is formally<br />
organised locally in the <strong>Hospital</strong> through<br />
the Partnership Committee. This committee<br />
is jointly chaired by a Union representative<br />
and a Senior Management representative<br />
and has an equal number of management<br />
and union nominees. This provides an<br />
opportunity for staff and management <strong>to</strong><br />
work <strong>to</strong>gether <strong>to</strong> bring about patientfocused<br />
change. A designated facilita<strong>to</strong>r<br />
from the office of the HSNPF supports the<br />
partnership process in the <strong>Hospital</strong>.<br />
The role and purpose of the local<br />
Partnership Committee is <strong>to</strong> act<br />
as a mechanism through which<br />
initiatives <strong>to</strong> address organisational<br />
and work-related issues and<br />
challenges are progressed. This<br />
committee and various subcommittees<br />
meet on a regular<br />
basis. Details regarding the<br />
