Responsibilities<br />
Conduct and Behaviour<br />
Code of Conduct: All Employees are expected <strong>to</strong> maintain high<br />
standards of behaviour and conduct while carrying out their duties.<br />
You must respect the equality rights of others and you are expected<br />
<strong>to</strong>:<br />
• Use your time positively and constructively.<br />
• Be approachable and pleasant.<br />
• Make others welcome and valued.<br />
• Show respect <strong>to</strong> people from all ethnic, religious, cultural and<br />
social <strong>back</strong>grounds.<br />
Computer Usage Policy: All users are expected <strong>to</strong> exercise good<br />
judgement and <strong>to</strong> act in a professional manner when accessing the<br />
Internet, using e-mail or using <strong>Hospital</strong> computer systems. Each user<br />
has a responsibility <strong>to</strong> maintain the <strong>Hospital</strong>'s image, <strong>to</strong> use these<br />
electronic resources in a productive manner and <strong>to</strong> avoid placing the<br />
<strong>Hospital</strong> at risk for legal liability based on their use.<br />
The full Computer Usage Policy can be found on the <strong>Hospital</strong>’s<br />
Intranet. It is vital that you read the Computer Usage Policy in detail.<br />
If there is anything that you do not understand, it is your responsibility<br />
<strong>to</strong> ask your Line Manager or the ICT Department for further<br />
information.<br />
Telephone usage: Office telephones must be used only for hospital<br />
business. If you wish <strong>to</strong> make a private call you must use the public<br />
