O.8.6 ORDINANCE FOR DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES<br />
O.8.6 (1) General:<br />
Academic programmes shall be governed by the following general<br />
rules which shall come into force from the academic year starting<br />
from July 2011 onwards. The Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma<br />
programmes are of one year duration unless otherwise specified.<br />
O.8.6 (2) Admission Edigibility:<br />
(i)<br />
Diploma Programmes<br />
For Diploma Programmes: Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination<br />
passed from any recognised Board or equivalent qualification<br />
unless otherwise specified.<br />
For D.C.O.M. Programme: Bachelor’s Degree (TDC) passed from<br />
any recognised university or Senior Secondary (10+2) examination<br />
passed or equivalent from any recognised Board with three years<br />
work experience.<br />
For D.C.T. Programme: Senior Secondary (10+2) examination<br />
passed from any recognised Board or Certificate of <strong>VMOU</strong> or<br />
equivalent.<br />
For D.L.I.S. Programme: Senior Secondary (10+2) examination<br />
passed or Higher Secondary examination passed prior to 1989 or<br />
equivalent or 8th class pass from a recognised school with minimum<br />
5 years work experience in any public library/academic library/specialised<br />
library.<br />
For D.N.H.E. Programme: Senior Secondary (10+2) examination<br />
passed or equivalent examination passed from any recognised<br />
Board ;or Higher Secondary examination passed prior to 1989.<br />
For D.S.P.R. Programme: 18 years of age or Secondary examination<br />
passed from any recognised Board or equivalent.<br />
For D.T.M. Programme: Senior Secondary (10+2) examination<br />
passed or equivalent from any recognised Board; or Secondary<br />
examination passed from any recognised Board with (CTG) Certificate<br />
in Tourist Guidance of <strong>VMOU</strong>.<br />
(ii)<br />
For P.G. Diploma Programmes: Bachelor’s Degree (TDC) passed<br />
from any recognised university or equivalent degree unless otherwise<br />
specified.<br />
For P.G.D.L.L. Programme: Master’s degree with minimum 48%<br />
marks or any other degree like LL.B. (Academic or Professional) or<br />
Bachelor’s Degree (TDC) in any discipline with minimum three years<br />
managerial or supervisory experience (in any organisation)<br />
recognised by the University.
