Presentation to the Chancellor<br />

The Chancellor, Chief Guest, Special Invitees, if any, the V.C., members of<br />

the B.O.M., Planning Board, Directors, Professors and Subject Heads shall assemble<br />

in the meeting room at the appointed hour and shall after wearing shoulder robes and<br />

badges, walk in procession in the following order to the Convocation Hall.<br />

1. Registrar<br />

2. Convernors of Subject Committees<br />

3. Professors<br />

4. Directors<br />

5. Members of the Planning Board<br />

6. Members of the B.O.M.<br />

7. Vice-Chancellor<br />

8. Chief Guest<br />

9. Special Invitee<br />

10. Chancellor<br />

(Note: This sequence is for entering the podium and the reverse shall be<br />

followed while coming back after the Convocation is closed).<br />

The V.C., having obtained the permission of the Chancellor shall, declare the<br />

Convocation Open. Heads of the Departments shall present the candidates for degrees<br />

to the Chancellor. The presentation of degrees of B.A., B.Com. and other such<br />

courses shall be done by the Director (Academic).<br />

In all cases the candidates shall be presented in the following form:-<br />

Supplication:- (To be done at a meeting of the A.C. and B.O.M. before the<br />

University and Institutional Convocations).<br />

On behalf of the Academic Council and the Board of Management they<br />

have been examined and found qualified for the Degree/Diploma of …………… I<br />

move that the Academic Council to pass a Grace for their admission to the said<br />

Degree/Diploma.
