of official work cannot be passed on to any individual or a<br />
representative of the press, radio, T.V., or any other mode of<br />
public dissemination without the prior permission of the competent<br />
authority.<br />
1.8 Every employee shall maintain absolute integrity, show devotion<br />
to duty and do nothing which is unbecoming of an employee of<br />
the University.<br />
2. The work of non-teaching employee shall be assessed annually,<br />
In case the report is adverse, the same shall be communicated to<br />
the individual concerned. Adverse entries in two successive years<br />
would lead to the withholding of increment.<br />
O.16.60 Suspension:<br />
1. The disciplinary authority or any other superior authority may<br />
place an employee under suspension:<br />
(a)<br />
(b)<br />
Where a disciplinary proceeding against him is<br />
contemplated or is pending, or<br />
Where a case against him in respect of any criminal<br />
offence is under investigation or trial.<br />
2. An order of suspension made or deemed to have been made under<br />
O.16.61 Penalties:<br />
this regulation may at any time be revoked by the authority which<br />
made or its deemed to have made it or by any superior authority.<br />
The following penalties may, for good and sufficient reasons and as<br />
hereinafter provided, be imposed on an employee:<br />
Minor Penalties:<br />
(i)<br />
(ii)<br />
(iii)<br />
(iv)<br />
Censure.<br />
Withholding of increment,<br />
Withholding of promotion; and<br />
Recovery from pay of the whole or part of any peculiar loss caused<br />
to the University by negligence or breach of the rules and<br />
regulations of the University or orders or directions of superior<br />
authorities.
