(iii) The conduct of examination shall be in accordance with the rules/<br />
regulations framed by the University for the purpose from time to<br />
time.<br />
o.6.1(4) Evaluation:<br />
(a)<br />
Evaluation of Students’ Performance:<br />
The successful completion of a course/programme of study for<br />
the award of degree/diploma/certificate shall be determined on<br />
the basis of the performance of students enrolled in the relevant<br />
course/programme in the manner laid down in this Ordinance.<br />

To obtain a certificate/diploma /degree one must have<br />
successfully completed all the required components<br />
pertaining to the concerned programme in accordance<br />
with the respective regulations;<br />
Components other than Internal Home Assignments and<br />
Term-End Examinations like project report etc. wherever<br />
prescribed, shall be evaluated as per rules;<br />
A student’s performance both in Internal Home<br />
Assignments as well as at the Term-End Examinations<br />
shall be in numerical marking.<br />
(b)<br />
Method of Evaluation:<br />
Unless otherwise specified, the performance of a student enrolled<br />
in a course/programme shall be assessed:<br />
(1) on the basis of the evaluation of the Internal Home<br />
Assignments submitted by him/her, wherever applicable;<br />
(2) on the basis of Term-End Examination conducted at the<br />
expiry of the minimum duration prescribed for the<br />
concerned course/programme;<br />
(3) the University may also prescribe for a course/<br />
programme, wherever appropriate, the execution of<br />
specific projects by students, the successful completion<br />
of which and the levels of performance in their execution
