I request that the University Medals, Degrees and Diplomas to be awarded<br />

to them.<br />

Then, there shall be exhortation by the Chancellor to the recipients in absentia<br />

in the following words:<br />

O.21.11 “By Virtue of the authority vested in me as the Chancellor of this University,<br />

I admit these candidates for the award of the University Medals, Degrees,<br />

Diplomas (mentioning nomenclature of Degrees, Diplomas<br />

etc.)…….........…….<br />

respectively in absentia”.<br />

O.21.12When all the candidates have been admitted to their Degrees including in<br />

absentia and the medals and trophies have been presented. The Vice-<br />

Chancellor invites the Chief Guest to deliver the Convocation Address.<br />

O.21.13After this, the Vice-Chancellor, with the permission of the Chancellor shall<br />

declare the Convocation closed. The procession shall then leave the<br />

Convocation Hall in the reverse order in which it entered and all the<br />

candidates shall keep standing till the Academic Procession leave the podium.<br />
