(A student shall not be allowed to appear in an examination<br />
for more than 54 credits in Bachelor’s Degree<br />
Programme(s) and 56 credits in P.G. Programme(s).<br />
(3) Project Report:<br />
Practical/ Project report or work/ Dissertation (wherever prescribed) shall be<br />
treated as an essential component. Without completion of the Practical /<br />
Project work/Dissertation, the result shall not be declared.<br />

Award of Division:<br />
Examination and Evaluation<br />
The level of student’s performance in Internal Home Assignment<br />
as well as Term-End Examination shall be mentioned in the mark<br />
sheet separately wherever applicable. A student’s performance in<br />
all the components shall be in numerical marking.<br />
Marks of compulsory (qualifying) non-credit courses shall not be<br />
counted in the student’s performance. Divison shall be awarded<br />
only after the successful completion of the programme as under:<br />
For M.L.I.S., M.J.(M.C.), B.L.I.S., B.J.(M.C.):<br />
I Division : 60% and above<br />
II Division : 48% and above but less<br />
than 60%<br />
Pass : 40% and above but less<br />
than 48%<br />
For B.B.A., M.B.A. and P.G. Diplomas (Management):<br />
I Division : 60% and above<br />
II Division : 50 % and above but less<br />
For All Other Programmes<br />
than 60%<br />
I Division : 60% and above<br />
II Division : 48% and above but less<br />
than 60%<br />
Pass : 36% and above but less<br />
than 48%<br />
Provision for Grace Marks: As a matter of policy, candidates<br />
having a shortage of up to 1 percent of aggregate marks to pass a<br />
course or courses shall be given grace in the course(s) concerned
