2 1994 Alexander Downer, Leader of the Opposition in the Australian<br />
Government, visited the <strong>Shoalhaven</strong>, met with the <strong>Shoalhaven</strong><br />
Tourism Board and addressed Representatives of the Tourist<br />
Industry.<br />

6 1992 Official opening of the new 80 kph bridge over the Endrick River by<br />
the Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Works and Roads, Mr<br />
Wal Murray.<br />
6 1992 Official opening of the St Georges Basin Sewerage Scheme by the<br />
Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Works and Roads, Mr Wal<br />
Murray. The final cost of the scheme was $28.4 million and was<br />
jointly funded by the NSW State Government and <strong>Shoalhaven</strong> City<br />
Council.<br />
