1 1957 Even though the Nowra Olympic Pool had been in use since 9 March<br />
1957, this day saw its official opening conducted by the Minister for<br />
Public Works, Hon. J F McGrath, MLA.<br />
1 1968 The Kangaroo Valley Apex Club was granted its charter. Keith<br />
Nelson was the first president.<br />
11 1987 The Westpac Bank moved to its new premises in Junction Street,<br />
Nowra, adjacent to the Commonwealth Bank.<br />
NOVEMBER 24<br />
1 & 13 1935 The foundation stone for the Roman Catholic Church, St. Patricks,<br />
Berry, was laid by the Most Reverend, M Sheehan DD. It was<br />
completed at a cost of £4,000.<br />
1 1951 The Bomaderry RSL Sub Branch was officially opened by Group<br />
Captain John Waddy, DSO, DFC and Bar, deputising for the Minister<br />
