ROOM AMBIENCE.<br />
2. SSEKA: (OVERJOYED) Mr. Nsubuga, I cannot<br />
thank you enough. I am bursting with<br />
happiness.<br />
3. NSUB: (OFF. SHOUTING IN ENGLISH)<br />
Peter, why are you crying Go on, get out.<br />
Take it outside.<br />
4. SSEKA: (CALLING HAPPILY) Mr. Nsubuga,<br />
come and see what your wife Rita has<br />
done.<br />
5. NSUB: (OFF) What has she done<br />
6. SSEKA: (HAPPILY) Come and see what your wife<br />
has done <strong>for</strong> the twins. (TO HIMSELF)<br />
The Lord has started my day by<br />
per<strong>for</strong>ming miracles <strong>for</strong> me.... Rita is a<br />
truly generous woman.<br />
7. FX. SOUND OF DOOR OPENING.<br />
8. NSUB: (COMING IN) What has Rita done<br />
9. SSEKA: Look at this heap of lovely clothes that<br />
she has given me <strong>for</strong> the twins.<br />
10. NSUB: That was nice of her.<br />
11. SSEKA: The Lord <strong>to</strong>ld me never <strong>to</strong> worry about<br />
what <strong>to</strong> eat or drink.<br />
12. NSUB: Even the birds which do not sow<br />
anything....<br />
13. SSEKA: (INTERRUPTING) ...eat until they are<br />
full. You know, when my wife gave birth<br />
<strong>to</strong> twins, I was overjoyed, and then I<br />
sobered up.<br />
14. NSUB: What made you sober up<br />
15. SSEKA: (AMUSED) I was worried about where I<br />
would get the money <strong>to</strong> clothe them and<br />
feed them. (LAUGHING) Not knowing<br />
that the Lord was going <strong>to</strong> provide <strong>for</strong><br />
them through your wife.<br />
16. NSUB: Your friend is in the back yard crying.<br />
17. SSEKA: Your wife But why is she crying<br />
18. NSUB: No, I mean Peter. He is crying because<br />
his mother has given you all his old<br />
clothes.<br />
