Exercise<br />
After reading this chapter, review the plots you devised <strong>for</strong> the exercise in<br />
Chapter 3, checking them against the ten aims of plot development listed<br />
in this chapter. Make adjustments as necessary. Ensure that the s<strong>to</strong>ry you<br />
are developing is original and is suited <strong>to</strong> the audience <strong>for</strong> which it is<br />
created.<br />
Prepare an event list <strong>to</strong> ensure that all vital parts of the message will be<br />
covered in the serial. Determine which events will be covered by each of<br />
the plots.<br />
Draft a full treatment of the main plot in accordance with the plot<br />
guidelines in this chapter. Make sure the s<strong>to</strong>ry incorporates the message<br />
naturally, subtly and gradually.<br />
