Background: Now that YASHADA has established itself as one of the country's leading<br />
State Training Institutes, it needs to expand its sphere of activity into other areas of<br />
training and research. As part of this expansion, it is proposed to sign a series of<br />
Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with sister institutes and sector specific Nongovernment<br />
Organisations (NGOs), to strengthen the capacity building network.<br />
Objective: There are two objectives behind the issuance of this circular:<br />
• To standardize practices at YASHADA in drafting and signing of MOUs;<br />
• To provide the other parties to such MOUs, with a clearly defined interface at<br />
YASHADA in terms of one designated Nodal Officer.<br />
Implementation: These guidelines will come into effect immediately, and adherence to<br />
guidelines on MOUs will be monitored by Registrar's office.<br />
