Effective from January 22, <strong>2004</strong><br />
Background<br />
The Hon. Chief Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra is the ex-officio President of<br />
the Board of Governors at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development<br />
Administration (YASHADA), <strong>Policy</strong> initiatives and annual workplans are reviewed and<br />
approved by the Members of the Board during their meetings. The presence and authority<br />
of the Hon. Chief Secretary ensures the support and guidance of the Government of<br />
Mahara.shtra.<br />
The proposal to recognise the YASHADA Library as a Repository Library for the<br />
Government of Maharashtra was reviewed and approved for establishment under the<br />
aegis of YASHADA.<br />

development perspectives such as Public Administration, Urban and Rural Development,<br />
