Seatbelts

must be able to easily operate the foot pedals
and steering wheel). Within this context,
they should strive to position the seat with as
large a distance as possible between their
abdomen and the steering wheel.
Seatbelt tensioner
All the seatbelts (except the centre rear belt)
are equipped with belt tensioners. A mechanism
in the belt tensioner tightens the seatbelt
around in the event of a sufficiently violent
collision. This provides more effective restraint
for passengers.
