General information on climate control<br />

Air vents in the dashboard<br />

ECC (option)<br />

Actual temperature<br />

The temperature you select corresponds to<br />

the physical experience with reference to<br />

factors such as air speed, humidity and solar<br />

radiation in and around the car.<br />

Condensation<br />

In warm weather, condensation from the air<br />

conditioning system may drip under the car.<br />

This is normal.<br />

Sensor location<br />

• The sun sensor is on the top side of the<br />

dashboard.<br />

• The temperature sensor for the passenger<br />

compartment is behind the climate control<br />

panel.<br />

A. Open<br />

NOTE<br />

B. Closed<br />

C. Lateral airflow<br />

Do not cover or block the sensors with<br />

clothing or other objects.<br />

D. Vertical airflow<br />

Aim the outer vents towards the side windows<br />

to remove misting from the front side<br />

windows.<br />

Side windows and sunroof<br />

To ensure that the air conditioning works satisfactorily,<br />

close all side windows and the<br />

sunroof (if fitted).<br />

Cold weather: Close the centre vents for optimum<br />

comfort and best demisting.<br />

Acceleration<br />

The air conditioning system switches off<br />

temporarily at full throttle. You may feel a<br />

temporary rise in temperature.<br />
