Warning triangle and spare wheel<br />

Follow the regulations for the use of a warning<br />

triangle 1 . Place the warning triangle in a<br />

suitable place with regard to the traffic.<br />

– Undo the case containing the warning<br />

triangle, it is attached with Velcro. Take<br />

the warning triangle out of the case.<br />

– Lower the warning triangle’s support legs.<br />

Ensure the warning triangle and its case are<br />

properly secured in the cargo area after use.<br />

Spare wheel and jack<br />

The car’s original jack<br />

The original jack 2 should only be used for<br />

changing wheels. The jack’s thread should<br />

always be well greased. Spare wheel with<br />

jack and wheel wrench are located under the<br />

floor in the cargo area.<br />

Taking out the spare wheel:<br />

– Fold the rear edge of the floor mat forward.<br />

– Release the spare wheel and lift it out.<br />

– Take out the jack and the wheel wrench.<br />

Putting the spare wheel and jack into<br />

the cargo area:<br />

– Crank the jack (1) to halfway. The marking<br />

on the plate (2) should line up with the<br />

marking on the arm (3) so that the jack can<br />

fit lying down in the holder.<br />

– Fold in the handle (4) and place the wheel<br />

wrench (5) on the jack.<br />

– Put the jack (1) back in the hole on the<br />

right (6). Fasten the spare wheel (7) in the<br />

hole on the left (8).<br />
