Right-hand stalk switch<br />

Windscreen wipers<br />

Single sweep<br />

Raise the stalk switch to make a<br />

single sweep.<br />

Intermittent wiping<br />

The delay between sweeps can<br />

be adjusted. Turn the thumbwheel<br />

(C) up for a shorter interval<br />

between sweeps. Turn it down to increase<br />

the delay.<br />

Continuous wiping<br />

The wipers sweep at normal<br />

speed.<br />

High-pressure headlamp washing<br />

(option in certain markets)<br />

High-pressure headlamp washing consumes<br />

a large quantity of washer fluid. To save fluid,<br />

the headlamps are washed as follows.<br />

Dipped beam selected with the switch on<br />

lighting panel:<br />

The headlamps are washed the first time the<br />

windscreen is washed. Within the next ten<br />

minutes, they are washed every fifth wash of<br />

the windscreen. If more than ten minutes<br />

passes between washes, the headlamps are<br />

washed every time.<br />

Windscreen wipers off<br />

The windscreen wipers are off<br />

when the stalk switch is in<br />

position 0.<br />

The wipers sweep at high<br />

speed.<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

Use plenty of washer fluid when the wipers<br />

are cleaning the windscreen. The windscreen<br />

must be wet when the windscreen<br />

wipers are operating.<br />

Windscreen/headlamp washer<br />

Pull the stalk switch towards the steering<br />

wheel to start the windscreen and headlamp<br />

washers. The wipers will make three more<br />

sweeps once the stalk is released.<br />

Parking/position lamps selected with the<br />

switch on the lighting panel:<br />

• Bi-Xenon headlamps are only washed<br />

every fifth wash cycle irrespective of the<br />

time that elapses.<br />

• Halogen headlamps are not washed.<br />

The switch on the lighting panel is in<br />

position 0:<br />

• Bi-Xenon headlamps are only washed<br />

every fifth wash cycle irrespective of the<br />

time that elapses.<br />

• Halogen headlamps are not washed.<br />
