Power windows<br />

Operation<br />
The power windows are operated using the<br />
controls in the doors. The ignition key must<br />
be in position I and II for the power windows<br />
to operate. The windows continue to work for<br />
a limited time when the car is stopped and<br />
ignition key removed, provided none of the<br />
doors is opened. Operate the windows with<br />
caution.<br />
To open a window:<br />
– Depress the front of the control.<br />
To close a window:<br />
– Raise the front of the control.<br />
Driver’s door<br />
window will then open or close automatically.<br />
If the window is obstructed by an<br />
object, the movement will stop.<br />
WARNING<br />
The function that interrupts the movement<br />
of the windows in the event of blocking<br />
works with both automatic and manual<br />
closing, although not with pinch protection<br />
deployed.<br />
Remote control and lock buttons<br />
To operate the power windows with lock buttons<br />
and remote control, see page 100 and<br />
page 108.<br />
WARNING<br />
Make sure that children and other passengers<br />
cannot be trapped in any way when<br />
closing the windows. Pay close attention if<br />
the rear door windows are controlled from<br />
the driver’s door or if the windows are<br />
closed with the remote control.<br />

The driver can operate all of the power windows<br />
from the driver’s seat.<br />
The windows can be opened and closed in<br />
two ways:<br />
Manual operation<br />
– Depress one of the controls (A) or (B) gently<br />
or raise it gently. The power window<br />
opens or closes as long as the switch is<br />
actuated.<br />
Automatic operation<br />
– Fully depress one of the controls (A) or (B)<br />
or raise it fully, then release. The side<br />

If there are children in the car:<br />
Remember to switch off the supply to the<br />
power windows by removing the ignition<br />
key if the driver leaves the car.<br />
