Front seats<br />

Seating position<br />

The driver’s and passenger seats can be adjusted<br />

to the optimum sitting and driving<br />

positions<br />

1. Forward/backward: lift the handle to adjust<br />

the distance to the steering wheel<br />

and pedals. Check that the seat is locked<br />

after changing position.<br />

2. Raise/lower the front of the seat cushion,<br />

pump up/down, (option on passenger<br />

side)<br />

3. Raise/lower the seat, pump up/down,<br />

(option on passenger side)<br />

4. Lumbar support 1 , turn the wheel, (option<br />

on passenger side)<br />

5. Backrest rake: turn the wheel.<br />

6. Control panel for power seat (option).<br />

WARNING<br />

Adjust the position of the driver’s seat before<br />

setting off, never while driving.<br />

Check that the seat is locked in position.<br />

Lowering the front seat backrest<br />

(option)<br />

The passenger seat backrest can be folded<br />

forward to make room for long loads.<br />

– Move the seat as far back as possible.<br />

– Adjust the backrest to an upright position<br />

90 degrees.<br />

– Lift the catches on the rear of the backrest<br />

while folding it forwards.<br />

– Push the seat forward so that the head<br />

restraint "locks" in under the glovebox.<br />

Floor mats (option)<br />

<strong>Volvo</strong> supplies floor carpets which are especially<br />

produced for your car.<br />

WARNING<br />

The floor mat at the driver’s seat must be<br />

firmly fitted and secured in the attachment<br />

clips to prevent it from being trapped<br />

around and under the pedals.<br />
