bound left turn lane on 121 st Street at Douglas<br />
Parkway, and the widening <strong>of</strong> 121 st Street to five<br />
lanes from Douglas Parkway to Meredith Drive.<br />
Justification: This project would add capacity to<br />
121 st Street to ease congestion in the area.<br />

Project Status: This project is in the planning<br />
stage. Phase I: 2010: Proposed is the addition <strong>of</strong> a<br />
south bound left turn lane on 121 st Street at<br />
Douglas Parkway. Phase II: 2012: In addition,<br />
approximately 2,600 feet <strong>of</strong> 121 st Street would be<br />
widened from a two lane width to a five lane width<br />
to provide additional capacity. The <strong>City</strong> will<br />
submit an application to the State for funding<br />
assistance for both phases.<br />
