Costs for this signal would be split with the City of Clive. Justification: As traffic volumes increase on Hickman Road, a traffic signal may be needed to help the residential traffic on 133 rd Street to access Hickman Road. Project Status: An IDOT Master Plan Agreement regarding U.S. Highway 6 / Hickman Road was approved by the City Council on October 28, 2003. This agreement identified future traffic signal locations. A future traffic signal warrant study will be required. Effect on Operating Budget: Increase approximately $250 for traffic signal maintenance and $300 for electrical service. 120

Costs for this signal would be paid by the Deerfield Retirement Community. Justification: As traffic volumes increase on Hickman Road, a traffic signal will be needed to help the traffic exit this development. Project Status: An IDOT Master Plan Agreement regarding U.S. Highway 6 / Hickman Road was approved by the City Council on October 28, 2003. This agreement identifies future traffic signal locations. A signal warrant study has been completed and it determined that warrants were not met, deferring this project until 2010 or later.
