Description: Proposed is the construction of
156 th Street as a two lane roadway, with future
plans to expand to four lanes. Related
improvements include grading, storm sewers and
street lighting.
Justification: 156 th Street is an arterial street that
carries a substantial amount of the north/south
traffic in this area. One-half of the cost of the
pavement would be assessed to the adjoining
property owners.
Project Status: The future project is in the
development stage and preliminary plans are not
completed.
Effect on Operating Budget: This project would
decrease the operating budget by approximately
$10,000 per year.
