To view mobile device details:<br />
• Right‐click the mobile device you want to view and select Mobile Device<br />
Details.<br />
Configuring Mobile Device Properties<br />
Mobile device properties consist of pre‐defined and custom properties.<br />
Pre‐defined properties are device‐specific and dependent on the version of<br />
the Enabler running on the mobile device. Custom properties can be<br />
associated with individual mobile devices or with mobile device groups.<br />
Properties can be used as selection variables in selection criteria to control<br />
which devices receive particular updates.<br />
NOTE Refer to Building Selection Criteria on page 164 for more information on<br />
using properties as selection variables.<br />
From the Properties tab of the Mobile Device Details dialog box, you can<br />
perform the following tasks:<br />
• Viewing Properties<br />
• Creating Custom Properties<br />
• Creating Device‐Side Properties<br />
• Editing Properties<br />
• Deleting Properties<br />
Viewing Properties<br />
You can view the properties associated with a specific mobile device in the<br />
Mobile Device Inventory List.<br />
To view the properties:<br />
1 From the Mobile Device Inventory tab, right‐click the device you want to<br />
view and click Mobile Device Details.
