You can modify the following server location properties:<br />

• Name<br />

• Path<br />

• Notes<br />

• <strong>Site</strong> Address (You can enter either the IP address or a DNS name)<br />

• City<br />

• State or Region<br />

• Country<br />

• Time Zone<br />

To modify server location properties:<br />

1 From the Navigation Window, click the server location and then the<br />

dServer Location Properties tab.<br />

2 Click Edit.<br />

3 Edit the information as needed.<br />

Save your changes.<br />

Stopping the Server<br />

You can start and stop the Mobile Device Server from the <strong>Avalanche</strong> <strong>Console</strong>.<br />

To stop the server:<br />

• From the Navigation Window, right‐click the server and select Stop<br />

Distributed Server.<br />

Starting Servers<br />

You can restart the Server from the Navigation Window of the <strong>Console</strong>.<br />

To restart a server:<br />

• From the Navigation Window, right‐click the Mobile Device Server and<br />

select Start Distributed Server.
