Glossary 202 Telnet Terminal ID User Account Web Console WEP A TCP/IP utility used for terminal emulation, which allows a client to connect and interact with a remote host system. The identification number of a specific (physical) terminal or workstation on the network. A login name and password used by an individual to access the Console. A user can have Administrator or Normal permissions. The Avalanche Console is the graphical user interface (GUI) where you manage your Servers, profiles and devices. The Web Console can be accessed from any Web browser that can connect to your enterprise server and allows you to manage and view reports and floorplans. Wired Equivalent Privacy. An encryption standard for wireless networks that provides the equivalent security of a wired connection for wireless transmissions.
