7 Select Add from the Action drop‐down list. This indicates that the<br />

property should be added to the device.<br />

8 Click OK.<br />

The task is added to the list in the Device Properties region. The property<br />

will be added to the device when the profile is deployed.<br />

9 Click Save to save your changes.<br />

Editing or Removing a Custom Property<br />

You can edit or remove an existing custom property on a mobile device<br />

through a Mobile Device Profile. Make changes to the property from the<br />

profile, then deploy the profile to the mobile device. You must know the<br />

name of the property in order to edit or remove it.<br />

To edit or remove a custom property:<br />

1 From the Profiles tab, select the Mobile Device Profile you want to<br />

configure.<br />

2 Click Edit.<br />

3 Click the Mobile Device Profile tab.<br />

4 In the Device Properties region, click Add.<br />

The Add Property dialog box appears.<br />

5 Select the Category to which the property belongs.<br />

6 Type the Name of the existing property in the text box.<br />

7 If you want to edit the value of the property, type the new value in the<br />

Value text box.<br />

8 If you are editing the value of the property, select Add from the Action<br />

drop‐down list. If you want to remove the property from the device, select<br />

Remove from the Action drop‐down list.<br />

9 Click OK.<br />

The task is added to the list in the Device Properties region. The property<br />

will be edited when the profile is deployed to the mobile devices.
