The key is added to the profile and you can configure its value.<br />

Adding a Value to a Registry Key<br />

After you have created a registry key for a Mobile Device Profile, you can add<br />

values to the key.<br />

To add a value to an existing registry key:<br />

1 From the Profiles tab, select the Mobile Device Profile you want to<br />

configure.<br />

2 Click Edit.<br />

3 Click the Mobile Device Profile tab.<br />

4 In the Registry Settings region, select the key to which you want to add a<br />

value and click Add a new registry value.<br />

The Add Registry Value dialog box appears.<br />

5 Type the Name of the new value in the text box.<br />

6 Select the Type from the drop‐down list.<br />

7 Type the Data in the text box.<br />

8 Select Add from the Action drop‐down list.<br />

9 Click OK.<br />

The task is added to the list in the Registry Settings region. The value will<br />

be added when the profile is deployed to the mobile devices.<br />

10 Click Save to save your changes.<br />

Removing a Registry Key<br />

You can remove an existing registry key on a mobile device through a Mobile<br />

Device Profile. Make changes to the key from the profile, then deploy the<br />

profile to the mobile device. You must know the name of the key/value in<br />

order to remove it.<br />

To remove a registry key:<br />

1 From the Profiles tab, select the Mobile Device Profile you want to<br />

configure.
