You also have the option to edit or remove custom properties currently<br />

existing on the device through a Scan to Config Profile. You must know the<br />

name of the property in order to edit or remove it.<br />

Adding a Custom Property<br />

You can add a custom property to a mobile device through a Scan to Config<br />

Profile. Add the property to the profile, print the profile as a set of barcodes,<br />

and scan the barcodes with the device.<br />

To add a custom property:<br />

1 From the Profiles tab, select the Scan to Config Profile you want to<br />

configure.<br />

2 Click Edit.<br />

3 In the Device Properties region, click Add.<br />

The Edit Property dialog box appears.<br />

4 Type the Name and Value in the text boxes.<br />

5 Select whether the property should be a device property or a network<br />

property.<br />

6 Click OK.<br />

The task is added to the list in the Device Properties region. The property<br />

will be added when the barcodes are scanned by the mobile device.<br />

7 Click Save to save your changes.<br />

Editing or Removing a Custom Property<br />

You can edit or remove an existing custom property on a mobile device<br />

through a Scan to Config Profile. Make changes to the property from the<br />

profile, print the profile as a set of barcodes, and scan the barcodes with the<br />

device. You must know the name of the property in order to edit or remove it.
