• Suppress Radio Statistics Data Collection. When this option is enabled,<br />

the Mobile Device Server will discard radio statistics data collected from<br />

the devices rather than transmitting it to the enterprise server.<br />

• Suppress Realtime Properties Data Collection. When this option is<br />

enabled, the Mobile Device Server will discard realtime properties data<br />

collected from the devices rather than transmitting it to the enterprise<br />

server.<br />

• Suppress Software Profile Data Collection. When this option is enabled,<br />

the Mobile Device Server will discard software profile data collected from<br />

the devices rather than transmitting it to the enterprise server.<br />

• <strong>User</strong> Files Upload Path. When a package’s .PPF file specifies that files are<br />

to be uploaded to Home, this option provides the path to Home on the<br />

machine local to the Mobile Device Server. If no path is specified, Home is<br />

defined as the Mobile Device Server installation directory.<br />

• <strong>User</strong> Files Download Path. When a package’s .PPF file specifies files that<br />

are to be downloaded from Home, this option provides the path to Home<br />

on the machine local to the Mobile Device Server. If no path is specified,<br />

Home is defined as the Mobile Device Server installation directory.<br />

To configure mobile device settings on the Mobile Device Server profile:<br />

1 From the Profiles tab, select the profile from the Profile List.<br />

2 Click Edit.<br />

3 In the Mobile Device Server Profile tab, find the Device Settings region.<br />

4 Configure the settings as desired.<br />

5 Click Save.<br />

Secondary Mobile Device Servers<br />

<strong>Avalanche</strong> allows you to configure the Mobile Device Server profile with<br />

secondary server support. This allows mobile devices to attempt to connect to<br />

a secondary Mobile Device Server if the primary server is not available.<br />

Mobile devices attempt to connect to the servers in the Secondary Server List.<br />

If the device cannot connect to the first server on the list, it will move to the<br />

next server on the list until it is able to connect to a server. If the mobile device
