Additional <strong>Site</strong> Functions<br />

<strong>Site</strong>s allow you to more efficiently manage your mobile devices. These<br />

options are available by right‐clicking the site and selecting the appropriate<br />

option.<br />

The additional options for sites are as follows:<br />

Delete<br />

Mark Orphan Packages<br />

for Deletion<br />

Unmark Orphan<br />

Packages for Deletion<br />

Update Now<br />

Allows you to delete the site.<br />

Marks orphaned packages on the devices within the<br />

site for deletion.<br />

Unmarks orphan packages for deletion.<br />

Allows you to update all mobile devices within that<br />

site immediately.<br />

Managing the Mobile Device Server<br />

You can manage the Mobile Device Server from the <strong>Avalanche</strong> <strong>Console</strong> with the<br />

following tasks.<br />

• Modifying Server Location Properties<br />

• Stopping the Server<br />

• Starting Servers<br />

• Viewing Server Properties<br />

• Reinitializing the Mobile Device Server<br />

• Retrieving Mobile Device Log Files<br />

Modifying Server Location Properties<br />

Once you have created a server location, you can modify the server location<br />

properties. The properties that appear in the dServer Location Properties tab<br />

were configured at the time you created the server location.You can also view<br />

the Server Location Statistics including Server versions and the number of<br />

licensed devices for each Server.
